Have you ever wondered how you can make a substantial difference in both your energy and water usage, while also making a positive impact on the environment? The answer lies in Control Flow Technologies Ltd., a leading provider of energy and water saving devices in the UK, which has revolutionised the way we utilise these important resources. This blog post delves into the world of Control Flow and how it can bring real change to your life and your household.

Who are we?

We are Control Flow Technologies Ltd., a subsidiary of Cenergist, specialising in energy and water-saving solutions in the UK. Renowned for our excellence, we hold an 'Excellent' rating on Trustpilot, a testament to our satisfied customers. Under the umbrella of Cenergist, our parent company, we've been delivering innovative heating and water solutions to various large commercial and not-for-profit entities, including water companies and local authorities like Leeds City Council and Crawley District Council, since our inception in 2012.

Cenergist established Control Flow to extend our expertise in energy and water conservation, introducing our patented line of devices under the brand Control Flow HL2024®. This enables us to cater directly to individual households, private developers, landlords, and holiday let owners. Backed by years of collective experience in the water and energy sector, both Control Flow and Cenergist stand ready to serve our customers with unparalleled expertise.

How Does Control Flow Work?

With Control Flow, you can significantly reduce water wastage and energy consumption. The technology works by regulating the flow rate of water entering your home or at your water outlet. This reduces the unseen peaks and troughs that cause excess water to flow out of your taps and shower. By installing Control Flow, you not only minimise the amount of water wasted but also reduce the pressure on your boiler, leading to significant energy savings.

The Control Flow Service

Our objective is to help customers significantly reduce their energy bills while also championing environmental preservation, and aiding in water and nitrate neutrality. Our tailored service, conducted by skilled Cenergist engineers, ensures that the installation of our patented Control Flow HL2024® devices is precisely suited to each property's usage and requirements. Starting from £395, this service empowers homeowners to achieve substantial savings on their household bills, especially those transitioning to or already on water meters. However, also combats water and nitrate neutrality head-on.

Good for Your Pocket and The Environment

A study conducted by Crawley council involving 100 households revealed that these households saved approximately £90 per year on their water bills and £270 per year on their gas bills after installing Control Flow. This results in a combined annual saving of £360. Beyond the financial benefits, installing a Control Flow HL2024® device can save enough energy in a year to power an electric car for around 9,200 miles. If every household in England installed a Control Flow HL2024® device, enough CO2 could be saved annually to offset the emissions from 3.6 million internal combustion engine powered vehicles.

One Small Device, Big Water & Energy Savings

Our patented energy and water saving devices – Control Flow HL2024® – are already installed in up to 40,000 households in the UK, saving customers hundreds of pounds each year off their energy and water bills while also reducing their carbon footprint. These devices have been certified by WRAS, ACS and DVGW as complying with water fitting regulations in the UK, France and Germany.
