Driving Water Efficiency:

Amidst water shortages and growing demands, many schools across the UK face water scarcity issues. Recognising this concern, Southern Water took the opportunity to utilise Control Flow solutions to implement a targeted water-saving program at Locks Heath Junior School, aimed at reducing water consumption and utility bills.

The project was carried out over a defined timeframe, allowing for comprehensive data collection and analysis. From pre-installation consumption meter readings to subsequent post-installation data, including adjustments for school holiday closures, every aspect was carefully monitored to demonstrate the tangible water savings achieved.

Through the installation of Control Flow HL2024® devices, Locks Heath Junior School achieved a daily water saving of up to 1.6 m3, equating to an annual financial saving of up to £3,810.67 off their utility bills. This significant reduction not only benefits the school directly, but also contributes to broader conservation efforts on regional and national scales.
